Quick switch technique for lure fishing

.
This technique is not really skill based, but more of being ready when the opportunity presents itself when one is doing lure fishing. The trick is to setup 3 rods, each with a different kind of lure. A suggestion is a topwater lure, a crankbait, and a deep diver. This way, at the merest sight of a water splash or sighting of a fish passing by, the lurer could immediately select the best choice of lures for the fish at hand and cast it out to the strike zone. If one is accurate enough, more often than not, a fish would immediately strike at a prey suddenly landing in front of them before they get too cautious. Of cos this technique is not possible to do it on board a moving boat, or when one is constantly on the move, scanning the terrain for fishing spots. This is more suited for a fixed luring position, with the fishing rods all close at hand.
