Barracuda on lure
.

These are my regular workhorses when comes to luring and I have had many good success with them, catching all sorts of fishes including ribbons, barracudas, spanish mackerals and others. Well constructed, it is solidly built with strong steel trebles that are ultra sharp. The body is coated with reflective surface that shines brightly under dim conditons. In fact, it is a good choice when luring at night and fishes find it irresistable from the good swimming action and glimmering flashes. Internally, it contains ball bearings to attract fishes from its noisy movements. Few times, I have fooled humans thinking that it was a fish swimming in the water. Castability is ok in its weight class. The old model has a smooth shiny surface, but the newer ones have a serrated prismatic look for maximum reflectiveness. Both models I found to work well. And it is definitely affordable as compared to more exotic lures in the market.
